all this talk of Demon Pox, one starts to wonder if it’ll end up being Jem’s cure or something.

not gonna lie i was just mind blown by that

and the plot thickens…

But that would require Jem…. With a demon…. Jem…. I’m pretty sure he’d go out as a good shadowhunter before he’d let that happen.

I’m sure there could be a way around that, if Cassie wanted there to be.

He stood up as abruptly as he stopped talking, the chair scraping heavily against the varnished floor. It was dinner time and Henry was very excited about his new invention, taking the opportunity to tell everyone about it over a nice steak. “Darling,” Charlotte called out, placing her hand over Henry’s. Everyone at the table had stopped eating, even the two young boys, who stared at Henry with wide eyes. “I-I I’m sorry. Excuse me I think I’m going to fix something.” he said through a choked voice, before turning his heel and leaving the dining room. Will was looking over at Tessa now, who has bit down on her bottom lip so hard he was surprised it hadn’t started bleeding yet. He felt helpless, unable to do anything to make her feel better. His words of comfort will be plain lies, for he felt the pain she felt. Everyone was silent for the rest of the night, the only sounds echoing through the empty hallways were the clink of cutlery against porcelain plates, for each adult was thinking of the same person, while each child only imagined how that man would be like. The man who they had heard wonderful stories about. The man who all of them looked up to. The man known as Jem.
